The nearest airport is Perugia S. Egidio, 10km from the city center (
www.airport.umbria.it). This airports provides daily domestic flights to and from Milan Malpensa airport and international flights connecting London Stansted, Girona Barcelona, Charleroi/Brusseles at alternate days. There are daily links via bus to and from Perugia railway station.
Other well served international airports are Rome “Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci)” and “Ciampino” (2 hours by car, see

The Rome-Fiumicino service departing from Termini railway station takes about 30 minutes to reach the airport without intermediate stops. … from Rome Ciampino airport: Daily connections between the airport and Roma Termini railway station are guaranteed by the bus services operated by ATRAL, COTRAL, SIT and TERRAVISION. The buses are parked in dedicated bus bays opposite International Departures.
… from Pisa Galileo Galilei airport: the airport is very close to the railway terminal (less than 40 metres of covered walkway). Direct railway lines connect every day Pisa Airport to Pisa Central Station and to Florence. At the Airport, you can buy your railway ticket at the information office in the arrivals hall. The railway terminal is located just outside the Check-in hall.
… from Florence Peretola airport: the airport is served by a daily bus service to the city main railway station where there are often trains to Perugia.
… from Ancona Raffaello Sanzio airport: the airport offers a direct railway service from Castelferretti Station (in front of the Airport terminal). From there it is possible to reach Perugia taking any train to Rome and changing in Foligno.
